Eco-friendly Bikram Hot Mat Towel Super Absorbent Review

I have always seen hot yoga sticky towels, but I have never been able to bring myself to pay the $48(!!) for one.  I normally use microfiber yoga/sport towels and most of them work great.  But in super sweaty Bikram yoga I wanted to try a rubberized(okay PVC) yoga towel.  I got this towel and was surprised how long it is.  I guess because it is so long it seems narrow.  But when putting it over my mat it fit along the mat!

The great thing about this hot yoga towel is that it is ready to go as soon as you are.  You do not need to wet your hands and feet or dampen the ends of the towel before practice.  This yoga towel gives you total security for your moves.  The hem is not super rugged but I have not had any issues with unraveling.  I wash this with my gym clothes and then hang it out to dry.  You do not want to put it in the dryer or use fabric softener in the wash cycle.  It even comes with a mesh bag to travel with.

Now I realize that because of the little rubber dots all over the back of the towel you can not really use this for other uses like as a travel or sport towel.  But if you need extra security for Bikram or Ashtanga yoga, this towel can really help you out.  At less than twenty dollars this yoga towel is a great deal.  Can't guarantee you can now achieve 8-angle pose though...
