Bloody Mary by Salsa Crazy Review

  • #bloodymary
So you are looking for something spicy to pair with your brunch or lazy afternoon?  Well look no further than this Salsa Crazy habanero bloody mary mix.  I was so excited to try this bloody mary mix so I made sure to make a premium Salsa Crazy bacon bloody mary for my first one.   Boy, this bloody mary mix packs a punch.  I like that this mix is good and thick so it can mix well with both your vodka and the ice.  I hate when about halfway through your bloody mary is becomes too watery to enjoy.  Because a bloody mary is a meatier drink I tend to drink it slower than normal and along with the pace of a big meal  so having my mix be nice and thick is key.

I decided to go all out so I made my bloody mary with great vodka and a bacon, lime, and olive garnish.  I thought it was I took my first sip and smiled.  This bloody mary mix was good and thick with a very full flavor.  The initial spiciness is there and then the habanero kind of creeps up and then lingers.  This is great if you enjoy a spicy Bloody Mary.  Of course, if you don't, you should not reach for a fiery bottle that has the word habanero.  I will say that I think this is best as an accompaniment for a meal as it is a bit spicy for my taste alone.

There was a bit of a mix-up on Amazon.com's ordering page and I at first received the Salsa Crazy salsa.  The customer service with the company quickly rectified the problem and let me keep to try this salsa.  Well lucky for me, because it is delicious as well.  I like that this has a kick and some heat. It does nto overwhelm anything you use it with though.  I recommend both products fully.

    1. Because it is a big jar and just the two of us eating from it we were pretty creative with it. We loved this salsa with Denver omelets, chips & pretzels, and as an accompaniment for baked chicken. It has a great balanced flavor with a kick.
