18" Packing Organizer/Folder/Envelope Review

Packing folders have always been one of my dream travel items that I just never have purchased.  I would see them in travel catalogues and at REI and could never pull the trigger and purchase one. Well I got the opportunity to review this 18" black packing organizer along with a smaller 15" red packing folder.  I would like to take a few minutes to tell you about this large 18" packing organizer.
The first thing I thought was that this packing folder is more useful than the ones that I have seen before.  The 18" folder has a firm plastic base that is flexible but provides stability for the whole package.  There is also a folding board with IKEA style instructions on it.  This allows you to quickly and easily fold your stack of clothing that will pile perfectly in the folder.  It did take me a little while to get the hang of making a stack of perfectly folded shirts and sweaters.  But my Second packing try was much better and by the time I changed over to the other packing folder I was working at pro retail level.

The sides of the folding tabs have long strips of velcro that allow you to tighten and fold over to close the package securely.  The velcro also lets you fill the organizer as much(about 14 pieces) or as little as you would like.  This adjustable feature also lets you sort out your clean and dirty clothes as your trip progresses.

This 18" packing envelope is great for packing a suitcase for a week's vacation.  I used this for a recent spring trip to visit friends.  This really allowed me to compress and pack more for any temperature.  I recommend this Dot & Dot packing envelope.  It is well made and rugged with reinforced seams and by the first full trial of this I will be enjoying this for years!
