I received this ultrasonic pest repeller.  I have seen electronic pest repellers for years but was always worried that it might affect our pets.  I got this pest repeller and like it for several reasons.  First this pest repeller has 4 options of what you want to repel.  FOUR.  How great is that.  If you are having an issue with crawling bugs and spiders but not mice or squirrels then you can just turn on those switches to take care of the insect and spider pests.  Another feature that this pest repeller has is a negative ion function that is supposed to clean the air.    The instructions do say to plug it in in the rooms where there is an issue and that there may be some noticeable increase for a couple days of seeing bugs.  This is due to them being annoyed by the wavelengths and moving themselves away.

When I plugged in the repeller and turned on all 4 options, I could see that each of the 4 arcs gave off a different light to indicate what was being activated.  I did not notice any sound and more importantly our cat, Pepper, walked right by it and did not act funny or even notice it at all.  So the only thing I was worried about was seeing Additional activity from spiders.  For me any spider is too many.  I plugged in the pest repeller before going away for a couple weeks for travel and hoped that all the spiders and other pests had plenty of time to uproot, say goodby to my things, and leave my abode.

Upon returning home I did not notice a cleaner smell.  But I do try to air out my place to keep odors from creeping up anyway.  One thing that makes me happy is that I have not seen any spiders or pests.  As this is early spring I usually notice more buggy activity this time of year.  I will continue to use this machine and will most likely invest in some more for my family.
